First off thanks to everyone who came to the Fenton for our gig last week! We had a fantastic time. For our rhythm section, playing with Clevor Trevor was an experience like no other…
We have a very special gig coming up on July 10th, this coming Friday, in the excellent City Screen Basement Bar in York.
It’s special for a number of reasons, but primarily because it’s singer Graham’s final gig with the band. He formed this group with Will around 5 years ago, but he’s moving so far down the country and it won’t be possible to continue as we are after this week… (The band will carry on, but more on that another time.) We are really going to miss him! So come along and hear his final performance with the band.
Doors are at 8pm, we have support from Clash tribute band Clash City Rockers, and we’ll probably be on around 9:30 – 10:00 ish. Tickets are £10 and all proceeds go to the Eye Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. They look after my daughter who has a rare form of eye cancer, and they do it brilliantly. So I’m hoping as many people as possible will come and we can raise a lot of money for a great cause.
Loads of tickets have been sold already, so I’d recommend heading to the City Screen’s site to book yours in advance. See you there!
